We specifically chose our location in our city because of the brokenness and need for a healthy vibrant church. We are excited about the stories that will be written - but because this is a high-need, low-income area, we will need people to partner with us to make these stories come alive. A reasonable goal is for hopecity church to be a completely self-sustaining church by year four. Some people have the resources to give boldly and consistently over the entire three year stretch, others can commit at this time for one year. In the life of a young, missional church, truly every dollar makes a difference.
